351M & 400M; "... (right side) Upper engine mount boss. Engine mounts attach to the upper boss and two lower bosses just above the oil pan flange at the bottom of the block (arrows). Threaded plug into the water jacket. Lower accessory bracket mounting flange on right front of block. Just above the "3" is the oil dipstick hole used for front-sump applications (i.e., cars and pre-1980 4x2 trucks)..." pis is gone

351M & 400M; "...(left side) Upper engine mount boss. Threaded plug into the water jacket. This plug corresponds to the one on the right front of the block (previous picture). Threaded plugs in the lower water jacket might have been intended to support an alternative cooling system, such as in a marine or industrial application..."

351W w/C6 Installation Info & pic in a 79; "...I swapped C6 cases, put in a mild shift kit, & used a flexplate from a '92 302 parts bronco I had. I used quite a few parts from it. Fuel tank, fuel lines, fuel rails; used the stock frame mounted 351M/400 engine pedistals. I bought new rubber engine mounts for a 302 for a '79 2wd F-150. It dropped right in & looked like it belonged there. I used BBK shorty headers from the car...."

351W w/C6 Installation Info & pics in a 78/79; "...The motor mounts are for a 1977 Ford F-150 with a 302 cid motor automatic transmission. Original engine mount frame towers are not changed or altered, the block comes to rest against the face of the BigBell housing C-6..."

351W w/C6 Installation Info & pics in a 78; "...The mount's I used came off the 351w that I pulled from a van, so yes they are stock 2whl mounts; used a set that I had sitting around that came off of a 351w out of a 2whl drive van? it sits right on the perch's like it should, and I do have a body lift because there is no clearence issue's..."

Engine Angle Adjustments in a 96 from 1996 F-150, F-250 4x4 and Bronco Workshop Manual; "...The engine angle is adjusted by normalizing the engine mounts. The engine mounts are normalized by loosening the engine mount nuts to frame. Raise the driveshaft (4602) off the frame, then lower the driveshaft and let it settle into place. Service any damaged mounts at this time. Tighten all fasteners to the specified torque. Recheck the engine angle. If the angle is still out of specification, place shims under the transmission-to-rear crossmember mount until the specified angle is obtained. ..."
