Cable Removal; "...before you pull the old antenna cable, tie a piece of string, twine, whatever to the end that plugs into the radio. Then pull the cable out. Now when you go to put the new one in, tie that same string to the same part of the new cable, then pull back through. It keeps you from having to fight the cable to go the direction you want/need it to go..."

Cable Replacement, Radio in a 91; "...Remove the glove compartment and at the top back of that section you can find the antenna cable. Follow that back to the firewall. Ford put a hard metal "turn" and a grommet at the wall making it almost impossible to get out without a straight pull. Grab the cable at that point and once "popped" you can easily pull the remaining cable (and your replacement cable) throught the hole..."
